Mary Cressler and Sean Martin

Vindulge

Vindulge is a wife and husband team creating backyard grilling, barbecue, and beverage content since 2009. Founded by sommelier and cookbook author Mary Cressler, Vindulge has grown to be one of the largest independent grilling and barbecue websites in the world with over 5 million impressions a month across all platforms. Sean Martin, her husband, joined full time in March 2020. 

Vindulge has been featured on TV and in print including a monthly cooking segment on Portland ABC affiliate AM Northwest, Fox 13 Good Day Seattle, as well as Wine Enthusiast, GQ UK, and the Wall Street Journal. They travel around the US and the world sharing their love of Pacific Northwest and Live Fire Cuisine.

Their debut cookbook in 2020 is now in its third printing and the duo launched their first Red Wine BBQ sauce in Fall of 2023. Their red wine BBQ sauce is sourced from wine that was impacted by wildfires. Instead of wineries discarding the wine, it was repurposed into a smoky BBQ sauce that supports local growers and has been featured throughout multiple news outlets. Their newest book Fire + Wine, Backyard Pizza is set to release in April of 2025.
