Born and raised in Blacksburg VA. Moved to Charlotte NC in 2006 and have lived here ever since. I learned about BBQ and grilling from my dad . He grew up in south Texas so was my main inspiration for charcoal grilled and slow smoked beef. You could say it was just in my blood from the very beginning 🙂
 
I currently cook on four Big Green Eggs and it is the exclusive form of my cooking. After I had performed numerous Big Green Egg Demos using SRF briskets, SRF and I formed a partnership as the first social media entity that was not affiliated with any company. My favorite part of this job is being provided the opportunity to cook for my dear friends of the Carolina Panthers, and the extraordinary events I have been hosting at Four Seasons Resorts and Hotels across the country. We have just partnered with FS Maui to bring the first event of our kind to the great state of Hawaii on March 21, 2020 also!
