We're Back and Ready to EGG!
The 25th annual, family friendly EGGtoberfest will be held at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia; home of the Gwinnett Stripers. The Stripers are the Triple-A affiliate of the 2021 World Champion Atlanta Braves.
For the last two years, the event was held virtually and we are so happy to be going live for 25! Other events don’t come close to featuring the international culinary talent and passion for live fire cooking that you’ll find at EGGtoberfest!
What's Cookin'?
Every fired-up EGG will showcase food that is cooked on Big Green Egg’s 100% Natural Lump Charcoal. It’s the “secret ingredient” to the unmatched flavor of food that is grilled, smoked, roasted or baked. Guests can sample fare ranging from breakfast dishes to pizza, savory appetizers to yummy desserts. Cooks will also offer a wide variety of delicious smoked brisket, pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs, spicy sausages, sliders and all kinds of other delicious bites.

EGGtoberfest provides guests an opportunity to learn more about the EGG, its versatility and a behind-the-scenes look at all things “Big Green Egg” — from new EGGcessories to professional tips and techniques, to BGE merchandise and apparel only available at the event.

What is EGGtoberfest?
The Big Green Egg is more than just the king of kamado grills — it’s a lifestyle. Since 1974, the Big Green Egg has captured the hearts, imaginations and taste buds of thousands upon thousands of grilling and outdoor cooking enthusiasts from around the world. With a faithful and fiercely loyal EGGhead following, like-minded family and friends come together to celebrate, prepare delicious food, network, share their latest cooking techniques and create memories that will last a lifetime.
EGGtoberfest History
The first EGGtoberfest was held in 1998 at the American Legion Hall in Atlanta as a “thank you” party for Big Green Egg customers who regularly visited the EGGhead forum online to chat, share recipes and experiences. Many were eager to meet their “EGGhead family”, get together to cook their favorite meals on the EGG and share memories.
The event has exploded from about 100 Big Green Egg attendees, with 15 cooks, to more than 200 cook teams featuring everyone from backyard grillers to chefs from around the globe, and well over 4,000 attendees. This meet, eat, and greet event has turned into a fun-filled family event and has spawned similar “EGGfests” being hosted around the world.
The spirit of the event remains true to its original intentions of bringing family and friends together for a great time and great food while cooking on the EGG.

The Friday night pre-party will be a festive eat, drink and mingle evening featuring your favorite BGE Team Green members firing up EGGs for complimentary live fire bites to go along with sides and desserts. Price includes two drink coupons per guest redeemable for Coca-Cola products, beer or wine.
Team Green is a collection of brand ambassadors from the world of food, BBQ, sports and the outdoor lifestyle.
