Lighting the charcoal is quick and easy with our natural charcoal starters or an electric or butane EGGniter … your EGG will reach cooking temperature in just minutes and you’ll never buy lighter fluid again!

Our Charcoal burns hotter and more efficiently, with more BTUs, than charcoal briquettes. It also produces less ash so there is minimal waste and clean up … delivering more value and performance in every bag. PRECISE CONTROL

You have total control over temperature at your fingertips by easily adjusting the patented air flow system, and the calibrated temperature gauge provides precise readings from 150º to 750º (50º to 400ºC). The insulating, solid construction maintains heat in any weather for year-round use, and many EGGs are used throughout the winter even in northern climates. 


EASY TO CLEAN

The Big Green Egg features an easy-to-clean stainless steel cooking grid, and the distinctive green exterior has a lifetime glaze that maintains its good looks and wipes clean easily without harsh cleaners. Inside, residual heat burns away any build-up – just like a self-cleaning oven, and ash cleanup is no problem with our Fire Bowl or Ash Pan.
